Full Mouth Cosmetic Reconstruction
A 59 year old female came into the office saying she was “disgusted” with her teeth. The patient was well educated and otherwise healthy, but suffered from dental phobia. She had not been seen by a dentist in over 10 years. Upon examination we discovered multiple carious lesions (cavities), broken teeth, severe plaque build-up, and evidence of periodontal (gum) disease.
Presented above are the before and after photos for the lower jaw. Beginning with the photo in the top right you can see the patients mouth before treatment. Note the calculus (plaque build-up) on the inside of the lower teeth. That is calcified bacteria! Below that is a picture of the lower teeth after deep cleaning. The discoloration and calculus is completely gone.
These are the before and after pictures for the entire mouth. Notice the discoloration, the red inflamed gums, and the broken tooth on the patient’s upper right. The final picture is of the patient with her new Temporary teeth.
The patient was extremely happy with the result. Not only was she relaxed and without pain during the entire procedure (easing her dental phobia), all of the work shown was accomplished in ONE VISIT.
